| Environmentalism at HAPCAP
Environmental Policy
HAPCAP proposes to become a leader in the community and set an example among its non-profit and for-profit peers as it pertains to environmental consciousness, conservation of resources, recycling and the efficient use of public tax dollars.
HAPCAP defines promoting sound environmental practices and sustainability as meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. Sustainable practices seek to balance a concern for continuing growth and development of the community and region with the needs of the planet.
The above policy was adopted by HAPCAP’s board in May of 2010.
