Lifeline Ohio Discount Telephone Program
Hocking . Athens . Perry Community Action has partnered with AT&T to enroll eligible residents into the Lifeline Ohio Discount Telephone Program.
This discount program is available to families who are currently receiving assistance such as HUD, Section 8, HEAP, Food Stamps, SSI, SSDI, Medicaid, or whose income is below 150% of the poverty level. Lifeline Ohio is designed to help families either get connected or stay connected to basic telephone service.
The discount reduces your local service bill by $12.39. Lifeline Ohio also waives the $36.50 installation charge of basic line connection and offers a payment arrangement to those customers with outstanding balances.
Applications can be obtained at your local Community Action office. If you have questions about Lifeline, please contact the HEAP staff person at your county office:
