2011 Local Requests for CDBG Funding Information

CDBG Projects Available for Bid

Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)
Administrative and grant management services are provided to Athens, Hocking and Perry Counties for the CDBG Formula Program. CDBG Formula funds are typically used to upgrade the infrastructure of communities and include water, sewer and road improvements. Funds are targeted to benefit low-to-moderate income individuals and neighborhoods.

Environmental Review
Provides services to local governments and organizations to assure that all required environmental clearances have been secured for funded projects. These include issues involving flood plain and wetlands, endangered species, plants and fish, EPA regulations, historic preservation, noise, scenic rivers, national landmarks, etc.

Administration/Consulting
Assist local governments with the management of projects such as flood mitigation, planning activities, water and sewer projects, etc.
