Our Early Head Start Program has the following opening:
Early Head Start Home Visitor at our New Lexington Site
Responsible for serving pregnant women, infants, and toddlers through weekly home visits and socialization events, focusing on child and family development and optimal health and wellness. Additional responsibilities include maintaining children files, tracking health outcomes, conducting screenings, and building strong relationships with families.
This position requires knowledge of child development, superior time management and organizational skills, as well as a desire to work with low-income children and families in a home-based setting.
Minimum qualifications include 2-4 year degree in Early Childhood Education, Social Work, Family Studies, or a related field. Experience working with the birth to three population is preferred.
Salary ranges from $22,537-$27,675, commensurate with experience/educational background.
All employees must be able to pass BCII and Federal background checks and drug testing.
