Hocking.Athens.Perry Community Action announces the availability of scholarship applications for students in Hocking, Athens, and Perry Counties who wish to attend an accredited institution of higher education. The Corporation for Ohio Appalachian Development David V. Stivison Scholarship Fund was named in memory of a former community action employee who was a native of Hocking County. Applicants must reside in the area, meet income eligibility guidelines, have obtained or will obtain a high school degree or GED and have been accepted by an accredited 2 or 4 year institution of higher learning. Non-traditional (ie- adults going back to school) students may also apply.

Completed applications must be submitted to Hocking.Athens.Perry Community Action by March 1, each year in order to be considered for funding for the academic year beginning in September.
